Stop the federal government from imposing a Home Equity Tax when you sell your home!
At the moment, if you sell your primary residence, you have to disclose to the Canada Revenue Agency how much money you made on the sale of your home. You don’t have to pay tax on it, yet, however, the taxman keeps asking about it.
You can take some concrete action to oppose a Home Equity Tax. Email Member of Parliament, Matt Jeneroux right now at Matt.Jeneroux@parl.gc.ca and ask him to table a Private Member’s Bill that forces the federal government to remove the CRA reporting requirement when you sell your home.

Cool down with a bowl of Watermelon Salad:
1 small watermelon, sliced into cubes and seeds removed

½-1 cup jicama, sliced
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons chopped mint
1 tablespoon basil
4 tablespoons raw hemp seeds
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Pinch of Himalayan salt

Mix all ingredients together in a large salad bowl and enjoy.
